Multimedia Developer at Algonquin College
My journey into the eLearning field began during my co-op and the subsequent semester in 2024, where I worked as a Multimedia Developer on the R3 Project. This experience marked my first step into the world of learning and development, and it was both challenging and enriching.
Working alongside a talented training team, I gained valuable insights and contributed to a variety of impactful initiatives, including:
Designing and delivering dynamic, interactive eLearning modules by integrating voiceovers, animations, and multimedia elements, resulting in immersive and engaging learning experiences.
Leading training initiatives for new team members, providing hands-on guidance in eLearning development tools and best practices, while collaborating closely with instructional designers to create pedagogically sound and impactful content.
Producing high-quality showcase videos for major college events, achieving over 1,000 faculty engagements at Algonquin College and enhancing the institution’s digital presence.
Designing visually striking banners, graphics, and web assets for the Thesis Learning Centre website significantly boosting user engagement and elevating the site’s aesthetic and functional appeal.
Developing accessible PDF guides and instructional materials in compliance with Accessibility Guidelines (e.g., WCAG), ensuring inclusivity and usability for diverse audiences, including individuals with disabilities. (See example below)
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide constructive peer reviews, ensuring all deliverables met the highest standards of quality, consistency, and visual cohesion
