Design Process for Satori Branding Project
The branding process for Satori, a psychology clinic in Chile, was collaborative from the start. In our first meeting, we discussed their vision of holistic well-being and their inspiration from the ouroboros symbol, representing renewal and introspection. I always encourage clients to share personal preferences for colors and typography to ensure the design resonates with their identity. Based on their input, I proposed a polished yet creative direction: a serene colour palette blending deep blues (#1B2B36), earthy greens (#5B8666), and warm neutrals (#CEC078, #C57B57) to evoke balance and tranquillity. For typography, I paired the bold Red Hat Display (for impact) with the clean Open Sans (for readability), striking a balance between professionalism and approachability.
After refining the logo and branding elements in subsequent meetings, the final delivery included a cohesive identity system—logo variations, a detailed style guide, and a mood board—to ensure consistency across future applications like their website. The result reflects Satori’s mission while infusing minimalist, nature-inspired aesthetics.
